DAY THREE
You have made it to day three and you are doing so well. Day three is often the most challenging day of the cleanse so stay diligent, remove distraction. You can do this!
Morning Routine
Continue with tongue scraping followed by ghee cleansing or lemon water upon waking.
Make your kitchari or any recipe from the recipe booklet. Today I’m having stewed apples for breakfast, beetroot and coriander soup for lunch and dinner with some sweet mung beans for dessert. I’ll probably make a date shake and some fresh juices too. There is no need to be hungry. Nourish your body!
DAILY RITUALS
Take your pick of cleansing rituals from the booklet. Today I’m caring for my eyes with the rosewater cleansing ritual. Ayurveda believes that one of our major energy leakages is from our eyes. Especially in this age of screen time, it is no wonder that we can feel depleted all the time. There are three different eye cleansing rituals in the booklet. Make sure to try at least one of them 💖
Day three MOVEMENT
Day three of the cleanse is often the day where our energy is most low. This is totally normal. Todays practice is a visit to Yin Town which includes some calming breathwork, lymphatic support and little bit of fascia flossing to help the detox process. I hope you enjoy:
WIND DOWN TIME
As is our daily flow, try to live by candlelight or soft warm light after dark to let your circadian rhythm reset. I’m loving spending the evenings soaking my feet in a hot tub with magnesium flakes, perhaps a castor oil pack on your belly (see booklet for guide), listening to a good book, audiobook or some music. Let’s leave the doom scroll for another time, ok.
Thank you for being here with me
I love you,
Cat xx
